Job Overview
GridX, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Director of Partners and Alliances (DPA) with a record of successfully creating enterprise value through partner and alliance networks. The DPA reports to the Chief Customer Officer and is responsible for executing our partner and alliance strategy. You will:
  • Identify and engage with potential partners.
  • Assess and describe to relevant internal stakeholders the value to GridX of a relationship with these potential partners.
  • Articulate the value to the potential partners that GridX can bring to them and persuade them to invest resources to make a partnership with GridX successful.

  • Drive measurable outcomes that lead to growing GridX revenues and margins.
  • Help to define and manage partner and alliances budgets
  • Establish processes and forums to drive and reinforce partner engagement

As our first partnership hire, it is expected your first three to six months will be spent completely immersing yourself in the GridX value proposition, understanding our products, the problems we solve and the most logical set of partners and alliances. Your first year will be spent onboarding the backlog of existing partner relationships while also creating structure and scalable processes that will maximize partnership growth opportunities, minimize friction in the partner onboarding process, and create inertia for years two and beyond. It is expected that starting in 2024, you will have goals and objectives tied to sales through and with our partner and alliance network.
This is a unique and highly visible role within GridX as we expect partners and alliances to be a very important component of our growth strategy. • Be flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks while team is growing

  • Interest in Clean Energy, Climate Change, Decarbonization, or Renewable Energy a big plus.

Benefits

An Insider's view of GridX

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

I preach how our leadership team really values the role of marketing and is open to continually trying new things to reach our audience. Just recently, we got the go ahead to produce a podcast targeting utility professionals and providing actionable insights to help them do their job. Most vendor podcasts are dry. This one is going to be awesome!
