Job Description
About the role:
As the Director, Organization Development, you will partner with the Head of Executive and Organization Development and other HR leaders to design a global organization development strategy and deliver a portfolio of team effectiveness, organization design, and other culture interventions to support ServiceNow high-growth strategy and culture. In this role, you will serve as an expert and hands-on practitioner for the processes, tools and methodologies associated with these domain areas. We are looking for an innovative, hands-on leader with a demonstrated track record of building and leading OD organizations.
What you will be doing:
- Establish and lead OD strategy and best practices to accelerate organization and team effectiveness; architect OD solutions and capability building at scale
- Diagnose organizational challenges and design solutions to meet global and local needs
- Partner with HR and business leaders to provide thought leadership and identify appropriate solutions
- Be a consultant and source of knowledge to the business/HRBP in the areas of organization design, organization and team effectiveness
- Partner with HR Business Partner community and external partners to deliver global and impactful OD solutions
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of programs and drive continuous improvement of OD solutions
- Keep current on new OD approaches, technologies and tools through research and networking to ensure our solutions are innovative
- Mentor/develop the capabilities of the OD Practice and scale our capabilities by activating the extended OD Network
Qualifications
Required experience:
- MA or MS degree in Organizational Development/Organization behavior, or Education-related field
- 8+ years of experience in OD roles in a global company with additional business or HR experience
- Expert knowledge in OD with a track record of designing and leading successful organization and team effectiveness projects
- Strong business sense and ability to align OD solutions to business needs, particularly for rapid growth, fast paced technology businesses
- Ability to enroll leadership support and engagement
- Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Highly flexible, self-directed, and adapts well to change and accelerated timelines
- Constant curiosity and interest in keeping up with OD trends and best practices
- Strong program management and execution skills
- Strong coaching, consultation, and facilitation skills
- Experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to discover trends and areas of focus
- Certified practitioner in team effectiveness methodologies
