Job Description

Supports Operations Development agenda of digitalization & innovation, business planning, organization development, OE reporting, analysis and administration, strategic alignment of DHL's businesses and various projects.

  • Oversee innovation projects including research, proof of concept, pilot and implementations.These projects include advanced robotics, warehouse execution systems, augmented reality and IOT solutions in our current sites.
  • This role will work to support senior operations leaders in the sectors and ensure optimal resource allocation, communications and execution of successful projects.
  • Apply principles of continuous improvement in assessing and improving upon implemented emerging technology solutions

Operations Development

  • Define, assess, and develop tools, process, organization structure that will accelerated DSC operations performance, supporting targeted revenue and profit growth.
  • Lead the development of a systematic process to manage digitalization initiatives, from idea creation to delivery and ongoing performance monitoring.

Program Management

  • Develop team & structure, best practices related to emerging technologies.
  • Ensure consistent approach and reporting of digitalization initiatives
  • Liaise and Align with sector strategy related to innovation, maintaining consistency in methods and communication

Strategic Planning

  • Assist region and sector teams in developing and implementing operations strategies and business plans.
  • Lead/assist division and/or sector teams in completing agreed key strategic actions.
  • Monitor strategic progress and facilitate successful completion of targeted actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, English, Logistics or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with in supply chain
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in at least one of the following:strategy development and implementation, solutions design, operations management, solutions implementation.
  • Intellectual Horsepower:Intelligent, sharp, comfortable with concepts, complexity.
