Summary:

The Director develops the pharmacy network relationships in partnership with the Director, Network Contracting and under the guidance of VP, Network Strategy, ensuring innovation with our network partners and development of strategic relationships. The role will help position our relationships with the retail network to build trusting relationships, oversight of key communications, extension of relationship beyond contracting and development of value based networks.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop retail pharmacy network relationships including large chains, independents, regional chains, PSAOS and enhanced network pharmacy organizations
  • Lead network planning and strategy efforts to support the successful transformation of the network relationships beyond contracting for retail rates
  • Develop innovative strategies to utilize the retail network pharmacies to provide clinical services to improve quality metrics and improve member outcomes
  • Work collaboratively to develop reporting to measure the deployed initiatives to demonstrate value and ROI of implemented programs to clients and our retail partners
  • Ensure the Network Transformation Plan is successfully meeting all established timeframes

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • PharmD or RPh. preferred
  • Minimum eight (8) years of current/recent managed healthcare experience required
  • Significant experience in progressive network management and development required
  • Knowledge of NCQA requirements required
