We are looking for a Director to lead teams for Network Projects, Security Administration, Cybersecurity Governance & Risk and Compliance (GRC). The Director will ensure the teams with
- Optimization of WFH employee connections. Tune network connection quality, optimizes application access speed and VOIP for all employees (WFH).
- Advanced SSO administration and task automation/scripting
- Monitors and tracks management actions plans originating from internal and external IT audits. Proactively design network, cloud security, strategic security initiatives and GRC goals
- Knowledgeable in site reliability patterns and support, cloud infrastructure creation and maintenance
- Engage IT managers to ensure that IT risks are properly managed and that issues are mitigated in a timely manner.
Duties
- Monitor, tune, secure employee workstations in WFH environment
- Apply best in class VPN/alternatives to route traffic including VOIP
- Monitor home network quality, coach to resolve, auto escalate as needed
- Ensure minimal loss of quality for WFH call center agents
- Automate/script commonly performed tasks by the group including user setups, advanced privileges
- Rollout SOC2, ISO7000 across the enterprise,
- Manage Rapid7 solution for corporation
- Experience expanding security solutions such as SIEM, security monitoring (EDR/XDR), etc. To include hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and related cyber security tools and controls
- Partner in Vendor procurement, contract review/feedback, and SOW process management, Infosec review requests
- Supervises and directs all cyber security risk activities, including annual penetration testing and predictive risk gathering and communication of those risks to the other teams within Beyond.
- Develop and maintain strategies around Information Security, Data Privacy, IT Compliance, IT Risk and Data Governance.
- Proven ability to manage, organize, oversee, and deliver several large high risk/visibility and complex projects simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required. Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or relevant related field preferred.
- Preferred Certification and Licensing: CISSP, CISM, Security +, Certified Ethical Hacker, AWS Cloud security certifications.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in information security operations & networking. 5 years of experience as manager or director level.
- Advanced skill in Amazon AWS, Rapid 7, Splunk configuration and security
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles to relate business needs to security controls.
- Has leadership skills to communicate and present strategic company goals into an actionable product execution roadmap
- Experienced in conversing and negotiating with 3rd parties as partners and regulators
- Strong understanding of corporate policies and compliance (i.e. information security, privacy, PCI, SOX/JSOX, risk management, etc.) and security frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT etc
- Possess deep understanding of Security trends and strategies for identifying Security solutions to meet client business, financial and technical objectives.
- Well prepared for Major Incidents and ability to provide mitigation plans against future events based on Incident Reports
