Job Title: Director, IT Business Solutions

Job Description: Lead initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Plan, manage, and control the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations based on company system needs. Advise business groups by providing technical and strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Ensure that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. Lead technical teams responsible for producing specifications for technology systems. Work in conjunction with professional services and outsourcing functions. Support global front office applications. Champion and drive organizational/technological change with the goal of continuously improving both the organizational capabilities within the IT function as well as the business functions which are supported. Deliver the strategic technology plan for the systems that support global business solutions and responsible for creating the organizational structures and processes to achieve the vision. Understand business needs and how Salesforce capabilities can help solve business problems, drive revenue growth, and increase sales productivity. Build and establish best-in-class BI reporting sourced from Salesforce applications. Lead Salesforce enhancement projects to drive the continued development, implementation, and management of the system. Provide immediate short and long term solutions using Salesforce design principles and practice. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Services, and Product Engineering business leaders to align with strategic business roadmap. Provide expert consulting to business leaders regarding system capabilities and how it can enable strategies of the organization. Leverage CRM expertise to identify opportunities for process and product improvements. Engage with other functions to consult and recommend technology enablement solutions and build functional technology rollout roadmaps. Work with Sales and Services groups to develop and implement effective training and communication programs. Lead systems initiatives in support of the company’s CRM transformation and Salesforce projects. Proactively identify and implement cost beneficial, lead practices in systems capabilities and support. Communicate corporate direction and objectives to staff. Define staffing levels and identify talented candidates for potential hire. Manage performance through setting objectives, providing performance/coaching feedback and evaluation. Motivate employees to over-achieve and correct performance problems. Develop staff skills and abilities to meet business needs. Actively support company programs and ensure adherence to company rules and procedures. Administer compensation actions within company guidelines. Monitor assigned budget and meet financial goals. 10% domestic and international travel for business and team meetings.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and ten (10) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related software development occupation, including five (5) years of experience managing CRM systems production and an IT team.
Skills: Position requires ten (10) years of experience in the following: 1) Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Pardot, Salesforce Community Cloud, and Financial Force; 2) Salesforce design principles and practice; 3) CRM application development; 4) Custom integrations; and 5) Progressive Web Applications (PWA) web development and conversion to IOS/Android applications.
