Job Description
Join our fast-paced, innovative and collaborative environment with a focus on driving automation and shifting towards a software defined infrastructure.
The Development Manager is responsible for managing the technical needs across the automation portfolio with individual projects as well as the holistic automation portfolio with a focus on meeting critical business goals including company targets and customer satisfaction.
This role is responsible for the following:
Understands, manages and reports the technical needs across the automation portfolio with individual projects as well as the holistic automation portfolio.
Serves as the first point of contact for planning development needs for new initiatives, as well as act as the point of escalation with the existing development resources
Manages the pool of development resources internal to CVS and provided through external vendors
Collaborates with automation product managers/ product owners to forecast, plan and manage the development resources
Liaises with technical advisors to determine skillsets needed across the portfolio
Delivers process improvements, and system enhancements using the Agile methodology.
Leverages standardized tool set to support automation of services/requests.
Supports both the business and technical understanding of the customer experience, back-end technologies/capabilities and business operations.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 120,000
Maximum: 265,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
8 + years of leading cross-functional teams in a technical environment.
2 + years experience with SAFe Agile
5 + years of experience with core infrastructure automation
Proficient in coding standards, guidelines, and best practices
Familiar with SDI (Software defined infrastructure)
Demonstrates a keen awareness of the user experience while seeking opportunities for self-service adoption through automation of infrastructure services/requests.
Experience in identifying and documenting business needs working interactively and effectively with technical resources.
Customer-first orientation and strong passion for delivering quality tools, information and content in service to consumer needs.
Desire to work collaboratively and experienced in driving projects to completion

Preferred Qualifications
SAFe Agile Certification
Prior Development Manager experience
Understanding of source control, build and test automation
Experience managing DevOps/SecOps practices
Experience with one or more public cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
Experience with VMWare, VRA, VRO
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef
Experience with ServiceNow Integrations
Experience with webservice based API integrations
Understanding of basic ITIL concepts (CMDB, Incident Problem, Change)
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
