The Director, Global Organization Readiness is accountable for the strategic direction and execution of change management (OCM) and business process (BPM) methodologies related to critical global processes and full potential initiatives. The Global Organization Readiness function's main goal is to institutionalize a disciplined approach to making operational workflow and business processes more effective, efficient and capable of adapting to today's ever-changing business environment. The Organization Readiness team members use various methods and tools to discover, model, analyze, improve, optimize and automate workflows and processes to improve performance and deliver value-added products & services to our consumers/customers. The team organizes the focus areas and deliverables to align with the corporate strategic drivers by continually partnering with executive leadership as well as business stakeholders. The team collaborates closely with the HbI Enterprise Agile Team to ensure training and adoption of the enterprise agile framework and operating model.

The Director, Global Organization Readiness designs the organization readiness strategic plan and directs the implementation of the enterprise OCM, BPM and Digital Training strategy aligned with the Company's strategic full potential and digital transformation plans. This role influences leaders, product owners, project leadership, business leaders, and end user community to ensure organizational readiness at all levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manages department or small unit that includes multiple teams
  • Owns the execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the department
  • Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis
  • Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership
  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas. Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.
  • Drives the development and execution of overall OCM, BPM and Digital Training strategies for key business initiatives, including: Agile training, process models, communication strategy, stakeholder management, change readiness, organizational alignment, team effectiveness and value realization.
  • Establishes improved workflow and efficiently integrates software modifications into process models
  • Manages resources (budget and people) in the development and delivery of training for users
  • Manages organization readiness related workplans, schedules and deliverables
  • Requires demonstrated leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams and influencing management and key stakeholders
  • Directs projects and solves issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge of accountable area of risk and compliance
  • Provides thought leadership within the domain across the company & reports/interacts with C level executives
  • Adheres to applications security procedures, change control guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Requires ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence leadership at all levels
  • Recommends operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall functional results. Directs the execution of strategies established by functional leadership. Establishes operational plans for job area with short- to mid-term impact on results (e.g., 1-2 years).
  • Strong people manager, motivating, delegating and mentoring teams to be high-performing and passionate about what they do

  • Leads OCM, BPM and Digital Training evaluation, planning, and activities associated with technology, process and organizational changes
  • Establishes methods to measure the effectiveness of OCM, BPM and Agile Training efforts, set targets, track results, and improve programs
  • Works collaboratively with a variety of key stakeholders and partners and across the organization to ensure alignment and consistency with broader strategic change efforts.


Qualifications

Experience Required
  • Proven excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; able to inspire and motivate employees
  • Ability to lead in an agile and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and absorb change quickly and lead team throughout change; needs to be a change champion
  • 10+ years of relevant progressive experience with change management initiatives, project management, talent management, business process modeling and/or organizational development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a management or leadership role
  • Experience working in global organizations
  • Experience working with senior leaders on complex, cross-functional, cross-geography change initiatives with significant business impact

Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Communications, Organizational Development or similar field; Master's degree a plus
