Join a fast-growing start-up where you can make a significant impact ad our Director of Global Events. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position is a key member of our marketing team responsible for a critical engine of our growth, the execution, and management of our global events strategy.

 In addition, this person is responsible for building Dragos’s annual DISC (Dragos Industrial Security Conference) into the premier ICS/OT practitioner event. The key measure of success is the contribution events make to our sales pipeline and company growth. In this role, you will work with Product, Corp Communications, Demand Generation, Field and Partner Marketing, and Sales to ensure alignment on goals and metrics. In addition, you will work closely with Field Marketing to create and execute our global events strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a global events strategy, budget, and plan that aligns with Dragos company strategy and GTM, taking into account business goals and industrial sector industry trends
  • Manage the execution of our global events strategy including sponsored, community, and Dragos-owned events including DISC
  • Support the execution of regional events in coordination with Field Marketing and other internal stakeholders
  • Develop the long-term strategy to build Dragos’s annual DISC event into the premier ICS/OT practitioner event and experience
  • Create best practices and clarify roles and responsibilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially with Field Marketing, to deliver high-impact results
  • Create and manage a shortlist of agency partners to draw from as needed
  • Report, promote, and share information about events through internal communication channels including email, Slack, sales briefings, Sharepoint, and company meetings

Requirements

  •  3+ years of demonstrated success owning the strategy, development, and execution for global events and supporting marketing campaigns that deliver the required business outcomes in a leadership role with a track record of building a company-owned event into a premier industry event
  • Strong project management skills including production schedules, budgets, stakeholder coordination, and agency/vendor oversight
  • Demonstrated results with growing and maintaining a high-quality pipeline and conversions for event sponsorships, both physical and digital
  • Knowledge of digital and social marketing, media (paid and partnerships), and advertising platforms in relation to events and experiential marketing
  • Analytical ability to identify high-impact opportunities and objectively evaluate projects

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $150,000
  • Base + Benefits + Equity = $245,000
  • Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K with match)
  • Equity at Dragos is quickly growing and the total compensation under-represents the future growth and refresh program. This will be discussed on the first call with the Dragos recruiter.
