Job Description
What you will be doing:

  • Position requires 24/7 availability for incident management (on call schedule) and the ability to travel 10-15% of the time
  • Back-up business incident facilitator with the Senior Director is unavailable
  • Works closely with diverse cross functional management teams to define, develop maintain and manage Business Incident Response Plans as well as Site Emergency Response Plans (SERP) and related incidents
  • Partners with the Global Technical Service Center (GTSC) and Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) to design, implement and maintain response protocols that are aligned and add value to key stakeholders
  • Works closely with but not limited to key business stakeholders including Corporate Communications, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Treasury to develop and continually refine critical Business Incident Response Plans
  • Develops and implements processes and procedures to assess, monitor and remediate risk and compliance related issues
  • Acts as back-up contact for specific crisis management teams and plans including emergency response activities
  • Provides leadership to ensure training of crisis management team members is consistent, timely and thorough
  • Drives process improvements through facilitation of focus groups and task teams that feed into decisions for program improvement
  • Provides input into the design and implementation of general marketing and promotional materials to ensure increased awareness of the GBR program
  • Creates data points into the GBR metrics and reporting activities including quarterly dashboards, metrics and reporting
  • Ensures appropriate end-to-end project management including the exercising and implementation of new plans and protocols with key Technology and Operations stakeholders
  • Conducts key stakeholder exercises, trainings, presentations and workshops
  • Champions the Crisis Management program, identifying, recommending and implementing projects to improve colleague awareness of and preparedness for crises in geographically diverse locations
  • Documents business requirements, identifying and gaining agreement on requirement priorities. Facilitate roundtable discussions, design review sessions and status meetings with the technical, business and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinates documentation and communication efforts as well as implementation activities. Identify, prioritize and implement steps to mitigate risks associated with the program or specific projects
  • Is a leader, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to influence and communicate effectively across functional lines to ensure all participants and stakeholders deliver according to requirements and schedule


What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. PMP or Resilience certification preferred.
  • Strong facilitation skills with significant presence on the phone and in-person
  • Strong interpersonal and indirect influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence of individuals at the various organizational levels
  • Detail oriented with a ferocious attention to details and accuracy
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills and the ability to calmly and effectively lead teams during a crisis
  • In-depth experience with Technical Incident Management, MIM, Crisis Management at a similar company or within a similar industry. Demonstrated experience in project management with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background and experience with audit and risk practices as well as regulatory bodies (e.g. FFIEC, FCA, FBA, ISO)
  • Willingness to do what it takes to contribute to the success of the team and the company
  • The candidate must have a high level of self-motivation, initiative and operate effectively as a team player across multiple business units
  • Strong knowledge of networks technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control), design and engineering
  • Strong knowledge of disaster recovery strategies and testing
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Proficiency in interacting with executive level clients
  • Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities and schedules
  • Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization and a proven track record in project management and meeting facilitation
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and clients
  • Excellent input and planning into application development, systems engineering, and network engineering for development of resilience and recovery requirements and best practices are implemented and followed
  • Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
