The Director of Executive & Technology Communications at Freshworks will be responsible for the strategy and execution of PR programs that showcase the Founder's vision and the company's growing family of products and platform innovation This newly created role will partner closely with Freshworks CEO and CPO and product teams to create narratives and news stories that win the hearts and minds of IT, customer success, sales and marketing teams.
You'll report to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications and work alongside a global band of PR, executive and employee comms gurus - plus a bunch of agencies - as you build an all-encompassing product PR strategy.
Job Description

• Support the CEO and his internal and external communications including press interviews, speaking engagements, and written content including employee emails, bylined articles and earnings script.
• Work as a key member of the corporate communications team, partnering to develop one cohesive product narrative across the globe.
• Sniff out the next big tech trends that could fit our CEO, brand and product slate, and craft top notch press releases and pitches that tell a meaningful story in that context.
• Develop communications roadmap for product launches and updates, with a strategy that goes beyond our core b2b buying audiences to help build us a brand your mom would recognize and maybe even get excited about.
• Partner closely with Product Leadership and Product Marketing teams to develop a targeted strategy for amplifying the innovation and vision of Freshworks products in three huge markets.
• Turn customer advocates into compelling stories for the press.
• Build, maintain new relationships with global business, tech and industry reporters.

Qualifications

• 8+ years PR/Comms experience, ideally with roles at both agency and in house
  Proven superhero-like ability to near-instantly grok and reformulate the value of enterprise software products in a gripping way for buying audiences and non-technical humans.
• A team player energized by swapping ideas with others and the confidence to pitch it to our chief executive officer and chief product officer.
• Hustle mindset to track down and synthesize technical information and to piece together stellar stories from offhand mentions in conference calls, field events, water cooler talk with execs, customer interviews, and Slack fragments with, heck, the whole company.
