The Position:

The Director of Enterprise Applications reports directly to the CIO and will assume a leadership role in strategic IT planning, vendor/contract management, and budget planning and management for our core enterprise business applications. They will work with a matrix team of business system administrators and contractors who provide day-to-day support for our core business applications and work on operational and strategic projects. This position will work closely with internal Business Partners to identify application improvements, implement new tools and processes, and align solutions with enterprise strategy to enable the business.

 What You Will Be Doing:

  • You lead the strategy, design, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all enterprise technology applications and platforms used by OPSWAT to run the company and manage the business, including ERP, CRM, HR, BI, ITSM, Intranet, and other information systems.
  • You collaborate with Business Functional leadership to formulate technology plans, estimate costs, and ensure solutions will meet strategic needs.
  • You are accountable for the implementation and delivery of enterprise applications — including technologies and services — to deliver robust, secure, scalable, and supportable technology solutions that achieve business requirements.
  • You improve OPSWAT operational processes and support critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
  • You own the 3rd party contracts and application financials, including charging models to be used by Technology organization controls.
  • You partner with business and technology leadership to rationalize the portfolio of enterprise applications, keep roadmaps updated, and retire outdated or unnecessary systems.
  • Working with a matrixed support team you are responsible for supporting and maintaining system availability, performance, and vulnerability management.
  • Will have overall ownership of technology Global Services desk consisting of one Global Services Desk Manager and four L1/L2 analyst.

What We Need From You:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading enterprise application and platform services for a global company.
  • A deep knowledge of enterprise applications technology, including SaaS and installable solutions.
  • Experience with configuring, managing, supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise applications and platforms, such as ERP, HRIS, CRM, BI, ITSM, etc.
  • Experience with Netsuite, Bamboo HR, Greenhouse, Salesforce, PowerBI, and Jira preferred.
  • Experience in an agile environment/scrum development process preferred.
  • Academic degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field.
  • Experience in delivery of transformational programs and development of technology strategy.
  • Experience engaging and managing multiple stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Experience negotiating with and managing global, regional, and local software vendors, implementation partners, managed services providers, and custom software development firms.
