This role allows you to work from anywhere you choose across the U.S. (excluding U.S. territories), with the flexibility to work from the Seattle HQ office as often as you’d like. Our core working hours are from 10 am to 4 pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday. Please be aware that all employees are expected to be available during these hours.

 

Your role and impact

 

We are looking for a Director of Clinical Quality and Safety to ensure that our clinic provides care that is safe, patient-centered and of the highest quality. In this role, you will report to the VP of Medical Innovation and Partnerships and collaborate closely with the directors and program managers of our provider groups, medical outcomes and Learning and Development team, among others. You will also work cross-functionally with our Legal, Compliance and Product teams to leverage technology to achieve these goals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a strategic roadmap for an enhanced Quality Management System and related projects, including working with the CMO and Clinical Executive team to ensure this system is aligned with the company’s strategic priorities
  • Work with the CMO and the Clinical Executive team to develop strategy and goals around quality improvement that are aligned with the company’s strategic priorities
  • Create a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and drive the development of scalable programs and execution plans in support of company priorities
  • Using well-established healthcare metrics, partner with key stakeholders in the design, development and implementation of effective strategies and programs throughout the organization focused on improving quality, member experience and population health outcomes
  • Participate and/or Chair the Scope and Standards Committee, a multidisciplinary committee that develops and approves our clinic’s guidelines and standards in care
  • Ensure stakeholder awareness and alignment through effective communication and manage the process of moving projects efficiently toward meeting goals and launch dates 
  • Manage a team of program managers and physician subject matter experts 
  • Support the Learning and Development team in training of 98point6 providers
  • Partner with the Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate risks and develop guidance around patient safety in a digital healthcare setting
  • Collaborate with Product Medicine and Product development to improve quality through standardization and automation

Qualifications

  • Experience working in healthcare required, with a deep understanding of primary care preferred
  • Experience in the delivery of digital healthcare preferred
  • Deep understanding of systems thinking, process management and performance improvement
  • Demonstrated excellence in building quality systems and infrastructure  
  • Knowledge of best practices in data visualization, statistical analysis and reporting
  • Experience partnering with as well as leading cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to communicate findings to stakeholders at various levels in the company, including leadership
  • Strong people management and leadership skills including proven experience managing significant programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and organizational savvy
  • Ability to present and communicate to external audiences
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous performance improvement experience preferred
  • CPHQ or CPHRM, CPPS or similar certification preferred
