About the Team
The Client Success team partners with all facets of the iHM family to provide our advertising partners with creative and strategic solutions by executing programs leveraging all iHeartMedia assets.

About the Position

The Director, Client Success role is a critical member of the Client Success team. This person should come in each day looking for ways to develop and optimize key programs for our top clients. A typical day requires balancing a wide range of activities including joining client meetings, contributing to campaign maintenance & evolving strategy, leading internal communications across various teams including programming, sales, marketing, media strategy, as well as searching for competitive info and maintaining a constant focus on what will drive revenue for the account both internally & externally. This role will also handle back of house elements including but not limited to: identifying and collaborating on research, media planning, and more. Strong communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal sales teams and other departments within iHeartMedia. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both sales/account strategy and campaign/event execution. Success in this position will rely heavily on the ability and willingness to support and contribute to creative cross-platform selling and marketing from the ground up, become an indispensable resource to Sales VP's and ultimately our client and agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee execution of comprehensive multi-platform campaigns internally & externally from 50% to close and through execution
  • Partner with Sales VPs in development and maintenance of client and agency relationships
  • Identify potential issues, flag and address with key stakeholders
  • Support Sales VPs as they prospect new business opportunities with existing partners
  • Oversee and manage assigned Manager and Coordinator in all elements of campaigns
  • Closely monitor and surface client strategies to internal teams
  • Owner and leader of weekly internal and/or external campaign status meetings
  • Attend sales meetings and conference calls with sales, leading agenda and actionable next steps
  • Broaden internal relationships across multiple internal divisions including but not limited to: Marketing, Programming, Events, Media Strategy, Integrated Planning
  • Spearhead conversations with Artist Relations to select the right talent for programs/brands and see the commitment through in writing for Managers to execute
  • Responsible for working alongside Media Strategy team in finalizing media plan
  • Work alongside the measurement team to determine Research for a program and ensure insights ladder up to client KPIs
  • Work with internal partners to ensure all are working toward the client KPI by applying learnings and optimizing assets for the success of the program
  • Ensure that the work being put into generating renewals on sold business will drive revenue and identify new opportunities for upsells



Qualifications

  • Work experience working for, or closely with, media agencies or clients
  • Strategic. Must be able to spot opportunities and address issues at every stage of the pre-to-post sale process.
  • Strong client-facing background - solid presentation skills, excellent written and verbal skills
  • Upbeat, entrepreneurial attitude
  • Ability to manage people and effectively juggle various projects at once
  • Resourceful, adaptive, and a master at triage; willing to relentlessly iterate and improve
  • You welcome autonomy and are driven to build something big. You own your responsibilities and look for opportunities around you to grow the company and it's relationships
  • You are able to manage multiple deadline-driven projects and wear many hats when necessary
  • Creative, passionate about the industry with a strong desire to do good work and bring forth new and innovative thinking
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability
