What you will be doing:

  • Develops, leads, manages and motivates staff
  • Monitors staff performance, works with Human Resources on issues and works with employees to implement goals and document progress
  • Ensures department creates and processes accurate output in a timely manner according to company processes and standards
  • Develops and maintains production schedules
  • Manages and controls finance system(s), researches system problems and works to resolve with IT staff
  • Identifies areas of potential improvement within the finance system
  • Develops and maintains service level agreements (SLA) with internal customers
  • Supervises, reviews, researches and resolves customer-related inquiries according to SLAs
  • Uses reporting to illustrate potential opportunities, issues or problems
  • Other related duties assigned as needed


What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience in a finance shared services environment
  • Requires strong management skills
  • Detailed knowledge of FIS finance shared services
  • Ability to identify, address and resolves employee related issues with strong analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Visio with focus on Excel and Access
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner
  • Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management with the ability to design, document, and implement process improvements
  • Strong system management/control experience
