Joining Collibra’s Strategy & Operations team:

The Strategy & Operations team at Collibra is responsible for defining and articulating where Collibra is headed. As well as defining and leading the operationalization of that strategy. We are a brand new team as of September, and we are looking for a Director of Business Operations to help build a path forward for that arm of our group!

This person will own the seamless execution of our corporate operational priorities in a highly cross-functional, collaborative, and visible role. Building from a place of ambiguity and within the context of historically siloed functions, this person will first redefine and then lead the company’s operating cadence. Perhaps most importantly, they will contribute directly and indirectly to earning a reputation of excellence, collaboration, and fun for our new team.

The Director of Business Operations at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Create a new consolidated and centralized operating cadence. Build on existing initiatives to rationalize planning cycles, and drive alignment to the corporate calendar across departments.
  • Create the frameworks and processes through which the company plans, executes, and reports. Define company collaboration and alignment channels, touch points, and goals.
  • Identify key relationships to build and maintain, and ensure the health of those relationships over the long term. Identify where formal (authority) and informal (influence) direction is required. Earn buy-in to your vision, and take steps necessary to realize it.
  • Understand and evolve how Collibra thinks about measuring the success of the business and its initiatives at a corporate level. Work with individual functions to ensure enterprise objectives are aligned.

You Have:

  • 8-10 years experience in consulting, program management, or in operating roles
  • Proven experience with systems-building and tools development, evaluation, and rollout
  • A strong track record of earning influence and driving outcomes without direct authority
  • Total comfort with all components of operational analysis, strategy, and reporting
  • Experience with early stage companies and B2B and/or SaaS environments preferred

You Are:

  • Coming from a background where you’ve seen systems and frameworks succeed and fail, and are genuinely excited by the prospect of reimagining these at the enterprise level.
  • Highly capable at building relationships across functions, levels, and geographies, and have an expansive and inclusive understanding of the concept of “team.”
  • A firm believer in the value of candid, transparent communication and readily give and receive feedback.

Reporting to Collibra’s VP of Strategy and Operations, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month you will jump right in to collaborating on reimagining the company’s operating cadence for 2022, while meeting your key partners and coming up to speed on the business.
  • Within your third month, you will be leading the execution of our operational cadence, and building out new operational frameworks for the company.
  • Within your sixth month, you will have a nuanced view of our business and its internal operations, and own the future roadmap for operations at Collibra.
