The Digital Integration Manager is at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts for our firm and clients. This position plays a critical role in working with our Consulting practice to align their technology roadmaps with RSM's technology priorities, to enable working with them to build new solutions that enable customers to realize the vision of Digital Transformation. It is a trusted technical advisor to our Consulting Service Lines sharing a compelling technical vision leading to committing to building new client solutions and delivery tools based RSM technologies. The Digital Integration Manager aligns technology roadmaps with RSM's priorities and ensure the practice is enabled to bring new solutions to market that drive significant growth or efficiencies within RSMTBD.

This role will act as a strategist and will be expected to provide insights, thought leadership, big ideas, and help identify new market opportunities for RSM on advanced technologies such as Data & Analytics, Alteryx, Automation Anywhere, Power Platform, D365 applications, GDPR, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Open Source, Security & Compliance, and IoT. It will utilize a Cloud first approach leveraging platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP. In this capacity, the role works closely with the CS IT Liaison and the IT Relationship Manager in systems strategy development, request and project identification, scoping, prioritization and execution, and in the strategic implementation and ongoing support of technology solutions to support the consulting line of business. This role reports to the Digital Integration Director.

Essential Duties

  • Consulting Technology Strategy
  • Support the Digital Integration Director, Program Sponsor(s), IT team and Consulting Systems / Operations teams in systems strategy and project / request prioritization and fulfillment including technical updates and enhancements, user requests, and planned migration and training activities
  • Partner with RSM counterparts and CS leadership to develop and manage a solution-specific resourcing strategy that leverages IT and / or innovation resources as appropriate, aligns with and is incorporated into the overall CS IT systems strategy, and optimizes opportunity for client revenue generation
  • Collaborate with inter-related Business and IT team members and project teams on execution of short- and long-term collective goals
  • Ensure IT and business side resources are sufficiently / appropriately aligned, escalating to Digital Integration Leader as necessary
  • Digital Transformation Execution
  • Evaluate technology requests, trends, and needs of the Consulting LOB and assist in building recommendations for future investment and business cases
  • Drive discovery meetings on various technology initiatives within the firm and collaborate with Digital Integration Director on consulting strategic roadmap
  • Lead Technology Strategy, Architecture and Execution of incubated Client Solutions and Client Delivery

    tools to achieve Consulting business objectives from incubation to supportable technology

  • Strategic Alignment: Identifies and consults on the strategic alignment of consulting service lines to ensure we build enterprise solutions that align to the benefits of the Consulting LOB
  • Envisioning: Presents in Digital Transformation/Envisioning Workshops targeting envisioning solutions to capitalize on identified market & efficiency opportunities
  • Partner with corporate Innovation and Acceleration center teams to identify and prioritize
  • Liaise with Project Sponsor, Digital Integration Leader, IT, CS Tech Ops and consulting users to promote effective, efficient use and adoption of Consulting system(s)
  • Provide input and guidance to collective Consulting organization to ensure systems are adequately performing and supported by IT
  • Communications
  • Manage project request list and prioritization of projects within the firm
  • Support communications to broad stakeholder base including that to advisory and executive steering committees
  • Coordinate communication needs with CS Operations, Consulting team members, and firm leadership

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Technical BS degree, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • MBA preferred

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Visio required
  • Industry experience
  • Consulting and/or system administration experience strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, emerging Cloud trends and their impact on customer opportunities
  • 5+ years of related working experience with Cloud/Infrastructure technologies required. Knowledge of MS platforms preferable, project management, technical Sales and technical account management
  • Strong Technical knowledge at least two of the three Microsoft Cloud Platforms preferred (Azure, D365, O365)
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to consulting leadership
  • Strong understanding of trends, industry plays, and how technology can address some of the industry challenges with proof of 5+ year working record and cloud adoption
  • Experience in building new practices and solution offerings on a public cloud

EXPERIENCE

  • 7-10 years of professional experience with business or IT
  • 5-7 years of project / program management experience
  • Minimum of five years experience working with management level individuals
  • Minimum of five years experience working in a professional services firm; consulting preferred
  • Previous experience in managing others in a team environment - direct or indirectly
  • Experience in navigating in a matrix reporting environment solving/resolving complex issues
