The Hyatt Shared Service Center provides accounting and customer support for over 150 Hyatt Hotels in North America and Latin America. We are currently seeking a full-time desktop support technician. This position is responsible for imaging, configuration, patching and deployment of all Hyatt workstations and applications. This position would assist with new hire onboarding and off boarding tasks. This position would triage and support Hyatt colleagues reporting technical issues via our internal ticketing system.
Essential Functions:
  • Provide level 1 support for colleague's requests for Shared Services systems and applications using internal ticketing system.
  • Schedules and performs regular software and hardware maintenance.
  • Follows appropriate standards of PC configurations and software installations.
  • Establishes priorities for daily, weekly and monthly projects and related tasks based on business needs to meet deadlines.
  • Apply or assist in operating system patches, application updates, and approved corporate software tools for Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Maintaining internal software/hardware inventory systems.
  • Assisting with general IT needs as directed from the IT Manager.
  • Handles IT projects as needed from direction of IT Manager.

Qualifications
Experience
  • 2-3 years of related IT experience

Education
  • Associates degree in computer science, MIS, or related field OR a valid computer, technical support, or networking certificate from a technical trade school.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or equivalently IT certifications

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 10, Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019, Microsoft Office Suite, VM/Hyper-V Virtualization, Microsoft Active Directory
