We are looking for a passionate and experienced DEG Tapeout Group Manager.
What You Will Be Doing
In this position, you will lead a brilliant team of tapeout experts to collaborate with Micron's various DRAM design and layout teams all over the world and support project tapeout effort with Best-in-Class methodology and flow, making sure the tapeout process on every project is with the highest quality.
Your key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead team to process all DEG database tapeout, from original DBR, design revision, pe revision and process related revision
  • Establish a systematic tapeout process with clear ownership and signoff mechanism
  • Establish needed verification flow for tapeout process
  • Be responsible for DEG tapeout quality
  • Update tapeout flow based on Technology Development Changes
  • Responsible for learnings from mistakes and gaps, form feedback flow to improve the process
  • Set performance management guidelines for team
  • Routinely provide guidance on career development in the team
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals of the team


Education & Experience Necessary for Success

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity of Micron current DRAM design and tapeout flow is a plus
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations
  • Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment
  • Must possess good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
