Defense Acquisition Management Professional, Mid
The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to support pre- and post-award DoD contracts? You're eager to support both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle in your clients' missions. As a DoD Acquisition Management Professional, you'll work with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government.

Support a Navy Systems Command acquisition competency. Assist the client with developing acquisition service offerings across the Naval Information Warfare Command Enterprise and provide acquisition guidance/support to associated PEOs and Program Offices in developing and evaluating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, developing and review documentation, and providing defense systems acquisition expertise in support of developing, acquiring, and fielding Navy systems. Analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation, including acquisition strategies, acquisition program baselines, and acquisition decision memorandums. Work with integrated product teams to provide acquisition expertise in all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting acquisition documentation requirements, including approval authority, routing and signature requirements.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with defense acquisition system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with creating defense acquisition documents, including acquisition strategies and acquisition program baselines
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 series instructions or SECNAVINST 5000.2 series policies and documents
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with risk management
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other scheduling software
  • Experience with the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF)
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs) or DFARS
  • Knowledge of JCIDS documents
  • Possession of excellent communications and organizational skills
  • Master's degree preferred; J.D. a plus
  • DAWIA, PMP, or other program management Certifications

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
