Deal Support Specialist
Job Description
Procore is seeking a Deal Support Specialist to join our Revenue Operations, Strategy, and Enablement (ROSE) team. In this role, you’ll interface with all levels of our organization to drive the advancement of deals, help create and streamline processes, and ensure our teams are set up for success. Successful Deal Support Specialists are organized, proactive, and able to manage a wide range of tasks. This position reports into the Manager of Revenue Operations and Support. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the “run the business” aspects of the Revenue team’s activities via Salesforce.com cases
Partner with stakeholders from Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to assist with creating accurate quotes and order forms and ensuring timely processing and data integrity
Assist with training and enabling sellers to utilize best practices around the quoting process
Support period-end close processes by resolving quote to cash-related issues
Assist in the development, coordination, implementation, and management of revenue activities; analyze the operations and activities of the revenue cycle
Identify systems and/or procedural gaps and recommend improvements and modifications; develop proposals for methods for increasing the effectiveness of activities
Facilitates knowledge transfer, project management, analytical support, and communication of the organization's processes and procedures
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of equivalent experience in a Revenue focused environment; either in sales, finance, customer support, or operations
Knowledge of revenue cycle/order management or deal desk operations
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com, MS Office, and Google applications required; advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience using Zuora Quotes or Salesforce CPQ are a plus
Strong listening skills with the ability to ask questions, troubleshoot issues, and suggest new ideas
Impeccable attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment that requires teamwork, trust, and the willingness to jump into new projects to help the team
Curiosity to learn new things, especially around systems, processes, and tools
