Overview:

Blackhawk Network is seeking a Customer Intelligence Manager for our Client Services Data Analytics team. The Customer Intelligence Manager will support Account Managers developing and growing strategic accounts through data. In this role, candidates will use data to identify performance trends, identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for strategic accounts. This includes day-to-day analytics, ad-hoc performance deep-dives and preparation of complex business reviews. With other members of the Data Analytics and Client Services team, this role develops standards for the management and steering of strategic accounts from a data analytics perspective. Close cross-functional cooperation with Account Managers, Sales, and Data Engineering teams will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for any analytical task related to assigned client portfolio
  • Storytelling through data: translate analytical findings into presentation that support Blackhawk Network's efforts to actively consult its customers strategically
  • Develop reports, dashboards etc. that drive effective business decisions to create opportunities to grow client relationships
  • Use customer data to translate Blackhawk Network's strategic initiatives into customer projects
  • Drive customer business reviews using data and analytics
  • Gather, analyze, interpret, summarize, and communicate data in a way that is easily digestible for strategic clients. Present finding to customers in virtual or in-person meetings.
  • Work with Data Engineering and Product Teams to ensure standard reporting is in line with the requirements of our strategic accounts
  • Evaluate key performance metrics and benchmark data to identify relevant trends for respective customer portfolio and across Blackhawk Network's customer base
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis
  • Ensures Account Managers are notified about relevant developments and comprehend the analytics for their customer


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience required (in analytics or consulting roles).
  • Experience consulting/advising customers on strategic decisions preferred
  • Strong analytical skills for effective research and problem solving
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to make data driven recommendations and decisions
  • Experience with building client relationships and developing strategies and roadmaps
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with senior leaders and strategic customers
  • Ability to translate complex issues into digestible information
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Natural curiosity in data and how it can drive decision making
