The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for providing support for all information security architecture and technology. This individual will focus on designing and developing security architecture patterns that meet data protection requirements. In addition, this individual will be responsible for two core functions for the enterprise. The first is the day-to-day operations of the security solutions while the second is the identification, investigation, and resolution of security risks/breaches detected by those systems. In addition, this individual will provide procedural guidance regarding information security requirements within the ADTRAN corporate enterprise and services networks.

This role will report to the Director of IT Infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis and identify any intrusion or incident path and method.
  • Proactively identify and monitor threats and risks to the ADTRAN enterprise and products
  • Isolate, block or remove threat access
  • Evaluate findings and perform root cause analysis.
  • Manage and coordinate corporate information governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain information security strategies.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and briefings based on security reports
  • Develop and deliver upon long-term strategic security architecture goals in conjunction with business needs.
  • Develop and implement a data security architecture framework.
  • Develop project specific security requirements and implementation plans.
  • Identify, analyze, evaluate security technologies for use across the enterprise.
  • Manage the life cycle and assist with the adoption of security technologies used across the enterprise.
  • Develop ADTRAN security standards applicable to all technologies and business operations, as well as support customer and business partner security requirements
  • Serve as a security consultant for applications, software/systems development lifecycle, database, network, and platform (operating system), cloud, and product line.
  • Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.


  • Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the information security industry required.
  • Demonstrated security platform design and implementation experience.
  • Network Operations background and/or Systems Engineering background.
  • Experience translating business requirements into security controls.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing risk and developing security controls at a business-appropriate level.
  • Experience estimating, justifying, and budgeting for roadmap initiatives
  • Proven experience with firewalls, IPS, vulnerability assessment and mitigation, event collection and correlation, auditing, cryptography, cloud service provider integration, data loss prevention and identity and access management.
  • Proven experience working in various operating systems including Windows and Linux.
  • Little to no travel is required in this position


  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • CISSP certification.
  • Security Certifications.
