Our work depends on talented Cybersecurity Subject Matter Experts (SME) of all levels joining our team to support Defense Health activities at San Antonio, TX, Rosslyn, VA, and remote locations.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cybersecurity SME supporting Defense Health, you will be trusted to deliver an advanced cybersecurity platform and a full suite of capabilities that minimize business risks and drive best practices across all elements of cybersecurity management. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with Defense Health to solve emerging cyber challenges
• Providing thought leadership in area of cybersecurity as it relates to health IT data and systems
• Leading/supporting the planning and deployment of cyber platforms and automations
• Ensuring compliance with applicable DoD and federal regulations and instructions
• Automating security controls with shift-left thinking on embedding security into tooling, processes, and team culture
• Risk identification, detection, response, remediation
• Your success will be measured through the business outcomes that result from your leadership and expertise

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience leading/supporting enterprise ATOs with NIST, RMF, FedRAMP
• IAVA and IAVM management
• Solid communications skills with an inherent desire to communicate and collaborate with team members
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Current DoD 8570.01 Cyber and Computing Environment certifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience and understanding of Continuous Authorization To Operate (C-ATO) concepts and how to apply those concepts to systems
• Experience in a DevSecOps team environment
• Cloud Native security tool & practices
