Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your advanced technical skills to support the MDA with their development of the next-generation ground-based missile defense system? The Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) element of the Missile Defense System provides the capability to engage and destroy intermediate- and long-range ballistic missile threats in space to protect the United States. The SITR contractor will support MDA with systems engineering, program integration, and testing of the GMD weapon system. The SITR team will engage component development and sustainment prime contractors to ensure the weapon system delivers the warfighting capability to meet current and future missile threats. The SITR Contract is a single award IDIQ contract with a 10-year Period of Performance. This program requires dedicated professionals in cybersecurity, program management, program protection, quality, safety, mission assurance; digital engineering, model-based systems engineering, modeling and simulation, specialty engineering, and test.

• Job Description
  • Leads SITR Cyber Team responsible for planning and coordinating with the Government, and executing GMD Element cybersecurity, cyber resiliency, and systems security engineering activities for the upgrades to the GMD Element
• Primary Responsibilities
  • Actively coordinates with MDA and GMD stakeholders to identify and address GMD security compliance and Information Assurance issues
  • Leads team to develop, update, and/or review RMF documentation to include Security Plans, Implementation Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and Risk Assessment Reports using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS); provide technical support and direction for the SITR Cyber team
  • Use engineering/scientific tools to integrate requirements and solve technical problems
  • Interacts with team members and cross-organizational stakeholders at many levels of customer, associate contractor, and Jacobs leadership and management

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field with 14 or more years' experience, or master's with 12 or more years' experience, or PhD with 9 or more years' experience
  • Knowledge and experience working with the DoD's cybersecurity processes to include DIACAP and/or the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Be able to apply knowledge with proficiency in relevant engineering principles and practices
  • Have strong writing and project management skills necessary to oversee engineering projects and produce documentation required for certification evaluation
  • Must have a current DoD IAM Level III approved certification
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Desired Qualifications
  • Have experience evaluating and reviewing security settings to enforce cybersecurity standards
  • Have knowledge of DISA sponsored accreditation-tracking tools
  • Have knowledge of intrusion detection and firewall system architecture and management with the ability to review and analyze configurations and make recommendations
  • Have experience with TEMPEST enforcement; CAC/PKI technology; Common Criteria requirements; FIPS 140-2 standards to evaluate and document security controls
  • 15 years progressive cyber security or technical leadership experience
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
