LS Technologies is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support our growing Cybersecurity team. This position will provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Job Description:

LS Technologies, LLC looking for Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cyber security to support NextGen Enterprise planning and analysis in support of the Automation Evolution Strategy work. Experience with NAS security and TechOps process, policy, and FAA security environment to support broad scope strategic challenges and opportunities associated with NAS enterprise infrastructure and system architecture.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to apply system engineering techniques to solve and mitigate cyber vulnerabilities
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-53 guidelines, and ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management
• Understanding of virtual desktop infrastructure solutions, virtualization, and networking concepts
• Knowledge of the bi-directional transfer between multiple networks of different classification levels, transmission protocol types, and partner organizations
• Knowledge of conducting security scans to identity on going and remediated vulnerabilities
• Ability to work independently and in a group to resolve technical issues in a dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
• At least 5 years of experience or an advanced degree in an applicable field

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to document and/or present ideas and findings such that others can easily learn from or make decisions based upon the material
• Ability to develop new ideas and techniques that advance the state of the practice for cybersecurity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentations skills
• Certifications desired:
  • Security+,
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Experience with FAA Systems/NAS is strongly preferred

Clearance Level Required

• Ability to obtain Secret clearance
• Travel: 0-20%
