The Health Service Specialist will have the opportunity to delivery extraordinary customer care by promptly and accurately responding to our patients concerns, reinforcing our benefits and services by connecting with our patients to establish long lasting relationships that will foster brand loyalty. This position will be responsible for furthering our mission and making sure that the day-to-day activities of the company support those initiatives. Responsibilities include:
• Deliver extraordinary customer service by responding to the patient's questions or concerns in a timely manner• Develop and foster patient relationships on every interaction that builds rapport from the start to the end of the call or chat demonstrating that you value our patients• Document the necessary patient profile information and update the medical history with any relevant information as it pertains to the patient's health• Ensure that all interactions foster customer satisfaction, effectiveness, proficiency, and quality. • Articulates the company's mission in a clear and concise way that can speak to patients, providers, and employees at all levels• Building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication• Working in a fast-paced virtual health center with proficiency in multitasking and navigation in a windows environment• Delivering extraordinary customer care by responding to questions concerning MDLIVE service offerings• This position operates in a 24/7 environment • Grow and nurture patient relationships on each and every call or chat that result in measurable value• Document necessary account information and offer solutions that benefit the patient• Maintain performance standards, including effectiveness, efficiency and quality• Provide additional services to new and to existing customers• Encouraged to submit ways to increase improvement solutions by raising ideas to the management team• Leads and supports management in application and implementation of new policies and procedures• Represents the company in official functions• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws, policies and HIPAA regulations• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of 1-3 years of customer service experience• Medical and/or call center experience is a preferred
• Competencies: Communications Effectively, Drives Results and Manages Complexity Must have a strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

This role is Flex/WFH which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a Cigna office location. Employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 if they choose to come onsite.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $16 - $18, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
