As a Customer Service Representative II you will be the primary contact for our customers. This role will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts and handling data entry. This is a great role for someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable multi-tasking.

Schedule:

• This position will work a Hybrid work schedule
• First Shift: Monday - Friday from 8-4:30pm.

Role Responsibilities:

• Process, monitor and follow up customer orders and inquiries
• Enter data for new orders, make changes to existing orders and complete required order acknowledgement and customer correspondence in order entry system.
• Communicate with customers primarily via phone and email
• Provide delivery commitment to customers and follow up on order activity to alert customer and sales team in case of discrepancies
• Become a product expert and understand each customer's needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver exceptional customer service
• Establish key communication link between customer and internal departments (sales, logistics, finance, production) to keep all involved parties aware of customer activities.
• Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Customer Service Representative
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work a hybrid work schedule: from your home office and Donaldson's World Headquarters in Bloomington, MN

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of order entry experience, ideally within CRM/Microsoft Office/ or Excel applications.
• Experience with Oracle applications
• Customer service experience focused in manufacturing and distribution
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Desire to provide the best possible experience for our customers.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with coaching support.
• Able to work as a team with our sales group.
• Constructive and creative thinking (e.g., in problem solving)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
