What you'll learn & achieve:
Support and enhance the overall UL experience for Follow Up Services (FUS). No external customer contact, internal request clarification for Global UL colleagues only. Maintain complex data entry in several systems by entering new and updated customer and account information. Must work well independently and actively engage in team discussions; providing feedback when applicable.
- Work to understand customer needs and Team's role in addressing those needs
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing data entry priorities then executing updates in multiple systems
- Perform fast and accurate data entry by inputting alphabetic and numeric information utilizing standard operating procedures (SOP's) and other work instructions
- Verify existing data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combine data from both systems when account information is incomplete; terminate files to eliminate duplication of data
- Test customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data and reviewing output in test environment
- Collaboratively manage turnaround time with team members
- Actively participate to continuously improve and drive quality into UL's service to the customer
- Use new tools and processes, sharing best practices and learnings with others
- Own commitments and consider own impact on the team, timeline, budget and resources
- Complete tasks on time with high quality
- This role is on-site 5 days/week
What makes you a great fit:
- 1-3 years of data analyst/data entry focused customer service experience preferred
- Higher Secondary Education (High School Diploma)
- Experience with Excel is required
- Oracle - Service Contracts experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills demonstrating the ability to balance support of new initiatives as well as repetitive day to day tasks without sacrificing quality
- Demonstrated ability to respond appropriately to customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse Team

The salary range for this position is $37k - $40k and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.
All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 5% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.
We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
