THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS AND ALSO ELIGIBLE TO WORK FROM HOME AFTER 6 MONTHS OF MEETING METRICS.

About the team
This dedicated banking team is one of our most innovative groups and is part of our Customer Interaction Management organization. Aside from a great leadership staff the group includes 30+ associates across two FIS sites that are well trained with a desire to provide superior customer service. This team is growing quickly yet focused on crafting an incredible "white glove" experience for our client's consumers. What you will be doing
As a valued member of our team you will be responsible for responding and resolving different consumer inquiries mainly by phone regarding banking activities. Most of the questions will be about normal banking activities (online access, card replacements), while others may require your critical thinking skills. You will be required to meet standards regarding quality, schedule adherence and other metrics that would be outlined during training. After you successfully mastered the skills of this role you may be tasked to provide mentoring to less experience associates.

  • This position is Work from Home eligible after 6 months of full time in office employment and performance based.
  • Flexibility to work overtime
  • Participant in frequent up-training to expand overall knowledge of processes and services


What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior call center experience: banking experience is preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills (verbal and written) that foster customer satisfaction
  • Excellent computer navigation and operation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

FIS JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION
Developing support role. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Responds to a high volume of inquiries about FIS's products and services. Questions and issues are predominantly routine but associate must be able to deviate from standard scripts and procedures as needed. Is able to effectively calm upset customers and end a negative situation positively. May coach and share information with professionals with less experience and/or expertise. Works under close to general supervision with little latitude for independent judgment. May consult with senior peers and team leads to learn through experience. Typically requires two or more years of experience in a call center or customer service-related job in a service industry. One or more years financial services experience is preferable.
Also, overtime work is an essential function of this position. From time to time you could be required to work overtime.
