Overview:

Securian Financial is hiring for a Customer Operations Sr. Representative to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Saint Paul, MN!

The selected candidate will join our Money In Team and play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' requests are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

This is an administrative role and much of the time is spent on the following tasks:

• Administering life insurance premium and loan payments
• Process requests for use of policy values as premium payments
• Process policy loans and dividend surrenders
• Administer the setup for automatic bank drafts to pay life insurance premiums
• Respond to contract administration service inquiries from policy holders and assigned field customers via telephone and written correspondence
• Monitor and handle assigned lists associated with administrative processing to meet required deadlines

Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure (organizational skills, ability to prioritize), to meet deadline. Positive service and team approach
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical Job Requirements:

• Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
• Ability to utilize telephone for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to perform grasping tasks throughout the entire work day. (examples: handwriting, grasping of equipment/machines, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, handling stacks of paper)
