How you’ll help
The Customer & Competitor Insights Manager is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and condensing qualitative data on our customers and competitors into actionable reports. They report to the Sr. Director of Research & Insights and work closely with members of the Product, User Engagement, Revenue, Marketing, and Creative teams at Jellyvision.
What you’ll do
- You'll have ownership over Jellyvision’s qualitative customer feedback data and competitor research tables.
- Provide our internal teams with reports which distill the tons of qualitative data we collect on our customers and competitors into information that is meaningful to them.
- Work closely with multiple teams to ensure that our qualitative feedback collection methods – such as customer and broker surveys and customer calls – meet the needs of a variety of stakeholders as well as Jellyvision at large.
- Drive product development and improvements by performing qualitative data analysis on real-world customer data (as well as some end-user data).
- Proactively compile and maintain records on Jellyvision’s current (and potential) competitors.
- Assist our Sr. Director of Research & Insights with data analysis projects and usability testing tasks.
- Help champion the needs of our customers within the company.
- Conduct additional secondary research on potential new products and features as needed.
- Manage a dynamic workload to balance priorities with deadlines to effectively meet project needs.
Experience and skills you’ll need
- 2+ years of experience with analyzing qualitative customer data.
- Comfortable with both qualitative data collection and analysis and secondary research methods.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with conducting qualitative interviews and usability testing is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
