What you will do

The Customer Business Manager is part of our Fire Protection business with Johnson Controls. This position will be working remotely with local district offices to have oversight of customer service delivery by having oversight of the day-to-day operations of local field teams. Oversee the contract, coach local teams, and be a strategic partner with the executives of our client on services and delivery. Ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with strong knowledge of the FIRE Life Safety industry. Experience in facilities services or any type of management role. This is a technical lead and business manager position responsible for contract execution, through operational excellence and financial objectives of national account business with multiple Support Services. Meets contractual obligations and customer satisfaction & KPI objectives.

How you will do it

  • Responsible for meeting customer satisfaction objectives and ensuring account team meets procedural requirements for compliance with business delivery, quality, safety, human resources and health standards.
  • Develops and maintains close working relationships with local District teams and customers, to execute operational excellence & communicate results.
  • Collaborates on account expansion plans and pull-through of additional JCI offerings leveraging purchasing, supplier programs and System Products offerings.
  • Partners with JCI sales and ops management teams.
  • Participates in contract renewal efforts and promotes expansion of contract scope.


What we look for

Required

  • High School or equivalent
  • Five years of FIRE/Services experience/or a parallel industry
  • Two years of management leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Operations knowledge of disciplines service and sales focused on execution.
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time


Preferred

  • BS Degree
  • Ten plus years of experience in the FIRE / Services industry
  • Five years of management leadership experience
