Cross Domain Systems Specialist
Key Role:
Provide technical and management support to improve the inherent security of the clients' boundary through actionable engineering practices and in concert with host agency best practices. Provide technical assistance on the design, deployment, and implementation of the Network Security components such as firewalls, switches, VPNs boundary, and Cross Domain System (CDS) solutions. Design, refine, implement, standardize, deploy, maintain, and evaluate cross-domain solutions. Performing security planning, assessments, risk analysis, and risk management. Providing recommendations for corporate solutions to resolve security requirements. Work directly with technical stakeholders to identify gaps in Cross Domain capabilities, designs solutions for the gaps, and supports engineering teams in implementation of solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience on contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government
- 5 years of experience with Cross Domain Solutions.
- Experience with providing Cross Domain Solutions management with the status and capabilities of CDS solution development and deployment projects.
- Ability to forecasts hardware and software license needs for deployment activities
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level II Certification is required
- CISSP or CASP Certifications
- Ability to obtain or maintain required certifications and Privileged User Access (PRIVAC) SYS3 within 60 days of hire
