Dealer.com, a Cox Automotive brand, is looking to hire a Creative Production Specialist to join our team.
The Creative Production Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development of specific graphic design components that have a strong visual impact. The Creative Production Specialist will work directly with the Design Team and the Campaign Coordinator Team to finalize design requirements positioned to meet stakeholder goals and objectives. Best practices, design methods and trends will be utilized to ensure project success. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work with tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual. This position will take a supporting role on to acquire, modify and create team resources, revise creative files, asset management and complete occasional design projects.
Your Role:
Operates effectively as a supporting member of the Design Team, including but not limited to: Designers, Client Stakeholders, Leadership, and Design Management.
- Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables in a timely manner and of high quality
- Acquire a wide range of automotive imagery and video assets, while paying attention to image compliance and usage rights
- Process, edit, and modify assets as needed in a timely fashion
- Maintain current folder structure standards, ability to reorganize as needed
- Tag images with terminology standard to the industry
- Demonstrate creative, technical and analytical skills
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments
- Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment
- Effectively designs in a clean, well-structured, and easily maintainable format
- Operates effectively for a quick turnaround of design assets and projects
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experience in a related field
- Fundamental understanding of design principles, with basic knowledge of typography and image composition, color, design terminology and concepts
- Basic knowledge of the following applications: Adobe Creative Suite with a focus in Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge (After Effects, Premier, Media Encoder, Video Basics is a plus)
- Understanding of web design basics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to simultaneously manage a fast-paced workload and add value to multiple projects
- Ability to recognize opportunities for workflow efficiencies
- A creative problem solver, who can be flexible shifting between dedicated tasks and one-off requests, with excellent time management skills
- Ability to collaborate across the team
- Ability to remain open to feedback from team members on personal or workflow improvements
- Self-starter; who is curious, shows ownership and commitment to the job, and who can work effectively across departments
What We Look For (Preferred):
- A bachelor's degree in a related field
- Advanced technical knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Bridge, etc.)
- Understanding of HTML/CSS
- Understanding of Digital Asset Management (DAM)'s best practices, with Keywords and Metadata
- Advanced photo-editing and image manipulation skills
- Understanding of Image Usage Right Concepts
