Overview

The primary job function of the Coordinator of System Initiatives is to provide project coordination and administrative support for special projects and initiatives for the Novant Health Board of Trustees and the Executive Team. Partnering with Vice President of System Executive Strategies, the coordinator will be responsible for launching new programs, building steering committees and successfully deploying projects across the enterprise. Additionally, the role will assist in board governance and other executive strategy projects as needed. The coordinator of system initiatives should possess a can-do attitude, be computer literate, can always perform in a multi-task environment and exhibit professional conduct and discretion, including the ability to maintain confidential information. The coordinator of system initiatives should be highly organized, detail-oriented and possess the ability to work independently and interdependently.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree, Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment is, Required. Healthcare experience is, Preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required:
    • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy, meticulous.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
    • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and multi-task.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good organizational & interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient with Internet search engines and Microsoft Office applications.
    • High energy, flexibility and commitment to Novant Health's mission, vision, and values.
    • Must adhere to Novant Health standards, codes of conduct, and confidentiality agreement.
    • Must be able to work additional hours, as required needed, and travel, as needed.
