Job Description

The Contracts Specialist at IERUS is responsible for executing the full life-cycle management and administration of prime contracts and subcontracts from prime contractors. This includes being a point of contact for contractual management between customers and IERUS, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and reporting on all contractual documents on behalf of IERUS. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting multiple contracts and contract types including FFP, CPFF, T&M, and IDIQ contracts
  • Negotiating contract award
  • Managing the contract setup process when contracts are awarded
  • Helping maintain all contractual documents including original contracts, contract modifications, and customer communications
  • Managing FAR and DFARs compliance for the contracts team
  • Managing CDRLs / SDRLs across all IERUS contracts
  • Analyzing contract terms and conditions and managing compliance in accordance to each specific contract
  • Disseminating of contractual changes to internal IERUS team
  • Reviewing, compiling, and distributing internal reports for internal IERUS functions
  • Administering all functions from start to contract closeout including vouchers, final balance, reconciliations, acquisitions, and funding
  • Negotiation, managing and executing teaming and non-disclosure agreements
  • Assisting PMs with reporting metrics and contract management
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relationship and navigating concerns or escalations in order to best serve the team
  • Working with IERUS supply chain personnel to satisfy contract needs
  • Assisting in cost proposal development
  • Participating in regular business development and/or pipeline review meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience in contract administration / management
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, delegate, and schedule daily duties, contracts team responsibilities, ad hoc requests, and higher-level corporate priorities / initiatives
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment and logic to IERUS’s proposal strategy, contract set up, execution, and customer relationships
  • Experience in working various contract types (e.g. CPIF, T&M, FFP, CPFF, etc.) of varying sizes
  • Active Security clearance preferred, or must eligible to acquire a Security clearance;
  • Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in contract management, procurement, business management, finance, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and analysis, and innovative solutions on past projects
