Title: Sourcing Specialist (Contract)

Location: Fully Remote or Dallas, TX 

Type: Full-Time       

Job Summary 

Our Sourcing Specialists develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.  Responsibilities include using various channels to look for potential candidates, contacting passive candidates and building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. If you have solid networking skills, know how to source on tech sites, social media and enjoy learning about different roles, we’d like to meet you.  Ultimately, you will proactively hunt based on our hiring needs and help us fill our vacancies with qualified employees.

Job Purpose: 

  • You will bring ideas and best practices, influence and create solutions that drive change and have measurable results sourcing talent in technical / engineering roles across the entire company.
  • We are looking for an experienced sourcer with demonstrated success in identifying talent based on a multitude of sources, expansive networks, and industry knowledge of best practices and effective trends and the ability to take LTK to the next level!
  • Sourcer who understands technology and has a strong ability to build a diverse pipeline of talent for both technical and roles. The ideal candidates will have experience executing a sourcing outreach plan, building a pipeline development strategy, and relationship management experience.
  • Develop and execute strategies to locate and attract candidates to LTK.  We encourage practical and creative ways to surface leading talent. 
  • Invest time activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach. Additionally, source, network with and proactively reach out to under-represented groups
  • Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack and Github)
  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search). Craft and send recruiting emails
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers to determine sourcing strategy based on position requirements
  • Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
  • Consistently maintain and track pipeline activity to share with Hiring Managers and Recruiters
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our CRM Tool inside our Applicant Tracking System)
  • Own retargeting strategies. Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities

Requirements

  • 1+ years sourcing or recruiting experience with an agency or in-house recruiting team, including strong technical sourcing/recruiting experience
  • Technical industry knowledge and general comprehension of relevant technical skills, relevant companies, engineering communities, and other technical resources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and a desire to learn
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills; effective time-management abilities
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs) and other sourcing tools (LI Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.) to maintain candidate pipeline
  • The ability to build and maintain a long-term pipeline for hard-to-fill roles
  • Experience developing and maintaining various strategies resulting in the engagement of passive technical candidates
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
