Job Title Contract Administrator

This paralegal position will support TPCi’s internal legal team in reviewing, negotiating, organizing, and managing agreements for both consumer facing products and services as well as the company’s internal business stakeholders. The role will provide top-notch service-oriented support for contract transactions, drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts.

What You’ll Do

  • Support internal clients and the legal team in all phases of the contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiating through execution and pre-litigation dispute management.
  • Provide contract summaries and ensure contract execution in accordance with policy.
  • Manage and maintain the contracts repository.
  • Review, issue spot, negotiate and interpret a variety of agreements pertaining to software and technology, professional services, intellectual property development, and data protection.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of contract templates and playbooks.
  • Maintain form libraries and work with other members of the legal team to build out and maintain internal policy documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to streamline and document contract management processes.
  • Participate and collaborate in routine internal client stakeholder meetings on contract status.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
  • Support ad hoc projects as necessary.

What You’ll Bring

  • Required:
    • 3-4 years in contracts management with a primary focus on commercial transactions, particularly concentrated in technology
    • Experience negotiating, drafting, and reviewing agreements in collaboration with partners on the legal team and technology stakeholders
    • Ability to identify the “big picture” issue and risks and assess impacts and to business teams and other ongoing projects
    • Comfortable with technology, technical terminology and experience working directly with information technology, product development, and engineering teams
    • Motivated, accountable, self-starter willing to develop and learn with the business
    • Ability to manage, prioritize and adapt to a varied workload within a fast-moving environment and tight deadlines while at all times maintaining strong attention to details
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other information tools
    • Growth mindset is more than a buzzword to you and you have a good sense of humor
  • Preferred:
    • In-house legal team experience: software or technology industry strongly preferred
    • Working experience and proficiency with workflow management platforms
    • Prior experience with contract generation and/or contract management systems.
    • Experience in scaling legal services to support a growing business
    • Openness to learn, teach and apply industry best practices in performing the role

What to Expect

This role will often be on video conferencing tools or in front of business units or vendor partners to engage in mission critical negotiations for The Pokémon Company International.
