This role is a mix of establishing strategic vendor relationships (assessments, negotiations, vendor onboarding) and managing the entire talent procurement life-cycle process to ensure Care has the right contingent workforce to get projects/products done on time at the best price.

The Contingent Workforce Staff Manager will act as the primary liaison with Engineering leaders to better understand the key needs and the possible talent gaps of our delivery teams. They will take select projects to bid with contingent workforce providers with a focus on both qualities of skill and effective cost management.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Ensure accurate selection and negotiations in the supplier contracting process.
  • Lead all aspects of vendor management processes related to requests, contract management, onboarding, extensions, etc.
  • Handle day-to-day operations, including implementation and management of requisitions to vendors.
  • Serve as a source of knowledge regarding contract terms and clauses; ensure security and compliance standards are met by managers and suppliers.
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition team to coordinate pipeline coverage where possible.
  • Work with Legal to update and modify boilerplate contract templates (NDA, MSA, SOW, etc..).
  • Work with FP&A and Engineering leaders on forecasting and models.
  • Work with the People Operations team to further drive consistency and compliance.
  • Manage vendor contract renewals and terminations.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding in Workday as well as IT tickets.
  • Manage requests to procure contingent labor contractors including job placement, contract negotiation, day-to-day troubleshooting, and ongoing relationships and communications with vendors and contractors.
  • Advise and educate internal leaders on a wide range of Contingent Workforce issues.
  • Work with our internal leaders to define an extended workforce plan and strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure appropriate tracking of contingent workers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 4+ years of experience in contingent workforce management.
  • Vendor management and/or recruiting experience.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Ability to process data to grow business strategies and decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Comfortable with technology.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
