Description:

The configuration management Analyst will manage all Configuration Management resources and tasks in support of the program and its system. Tasks will be captured on the project schedule along with due dates. Collaborate with development teams to design the software build, supporting continuous integration, and code analysis. Works in Waterfall and Agile development environment. Maintains software version control using Rational ClearCase and Rational Team Concert for various environments (Dev, AQT, SAT, and Prod). Develops builds with development team and Federal Government that supports Continuous Integration. Works closely with the Federal Government teams to manage and maintain programming code. Completes Federal Government documentation for code transmittal and attends various project related meetings. Monitors software inspection, testing, verification and validation. Oversee implementation of software development and maintenance processes and methods. Supports the system under the direction of the subject matter experts, in collaboration with developers, following Federal Government Processes, using Federal Government specified Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and Federal Government developed products. Perform tasks to maintain and build out Development, Test, and System Acceptance Testing (SAT) as well as Production Environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and maintenance of technical CM documentation in support of the project. Configuration management and assembling the releases of the code base.
  • Follow software compliance standards and must have experience with large scale systems.
  • Rational Software Tools – ClearQuest, Rational Team Concert and ability to manage NEXUS, RTC and GitHub Repositories.
  • Ability to develop build GROOVY scripts and CICD pipeline scripts and develop a continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Build, deploy and maintain Production, DSIT, and Dev environments. Ability to build the Automation of deployments/CM process.
  • Work experience in CM process and procedures and ability to interface and communicate with Developers and Business Analyst/Testers.
  • Ability to interface with clients and work experience in completing CM documentation for deployments. Ability to manage ClearCase VOBs/programming code and ability to identify risks and mitigate risks.
  • Experience with LINUX command line and continue to evaluate new technologies and update/develop standard practices
  • Research, develop, and implement innovative and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.

Required technical skills:

  • IBM Rational ClearQuest; IBM Rational ClearCase; IBM Jazz Team Concert; Jenkins software tool; Shell Script / or any other scripting language; Rational Team Concert; GitHub; Maven; Secure CRT/FX; Eclipse; SUN UNIX; Linux; DevOps.
  • Work experience in completing CM documentation for deployments.

Required skills:

  • Must feel comfortable interacting with clients and must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented.
  • Ability to effectively communicate project status in written and verbal format.

Additional requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7+ years of professional experience for mid-level developers.
  • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
