GDIT is preparing to win the DISA's Defense Enclave Services (DES) program supporting the National Defense Strategy for Information Technology (IT) Reform. The program is a 10 Year Single Vendor ~$12B IDIQ that will provide Common Use IT as a Single Service Provider (SSP) to twenty-two (22) 4th Estate agencies while migrating and sustaining 370,000+ users at 500+ global locations. GDIT will provide DES all-required transition, infrastructure, network operations and management, engineering and innovation, cybersecurity, and technical refresh support to consolidate all of the agencies under one operational environment. The network will consist of Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) domains and will use the DISA DoDNet as the technical baseline for standardization between agencies upon transition.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of management consulting experience in the federal space
  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading IT project requirements and change control process
  • 3 to 5 years of experience facilitating change control board (CCB) sessions
  • Experience directly implementing and maintaining project change/configuration management policies, plans, and procedures
  • Experience training and education program/project stakeholders of the CCB and CR process
  • Extensive experience reviewing and cleaning up change requests (CRs)
  • Experience training junior staff on the change/configuration management functions and processes
  • Ability to review technical change requests and provide concise feedback to system integrators and other technical teams
  • Strong presentation skills and presence to brief executive-level clients
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience



Responsibilities:

Responsible for configuration management planning. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. Responsible for configuration planning. Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. Responsible for configuration change control. Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Responsible for configuration status accounting. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration. Responsible for configuration audits. Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met by the as-built software. Supports software quality assurance process audits.
