This position will directly support the VP, Compliance and Chief Privacy Official. The Compliance Manager will identify, develop and implement strategy to help mitigate risk in a quickly evolving healthcare and data privacy & security regulatory landscape. As a Manager, you will be joining a team of highly motivated individuals and will be a key player in enhancing compliance oversight.
This role serves as a subject matter specialist who provides support directly or indirectly to multiple stakeholders, including, operations, legal counsel, IT, security, and multiple other teams throughout the organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform and lead a variety of recurring and non-recurring processes and projects related to compliance.
- Supports management of compliance risk; executes on compliance monitoring activities and audits; documents findings and recommendations; and monitors completion of corrective action plans.
- Perform assessments of policies, processes, systems, and issues.
- Define and understand problems, collect and analyze data, perform research, identify root cause and evaluate alternatives to make timely and appropriate decisions.
- Supervise and conduct audits (develop work-plans, perform audit work steps, document and report findings, develop and implement appropriate remediation).
- Support company process improvement efforts by constantly identifying and acting on ways to make processes more streamlined and efficient.
- Establish effective relationships across multi-functional teams, providing consultative advice and guidance regarding compliance.
- Conduct Compliance investigations; gather facts, analyze information, make recommendations regarding remediation efforts.
- Assist with monitoring healthcare and data privacy & security regulatory developments and enforcement activities and effectively reporting such developments and enforcement to appropriate teams or individuals.
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of relevant healthcare and data privacy & security laws and regulations related to GHX's Compliance program and the healthcare industry.
- Any other job duties & responsibilities necessary to maintain the Compliance program's operations and/or the fulfillment of compliance functions for the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance and/or SaaS, preferred.
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with ability to drive independent problem solving, comfortable with a constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work for self and others to deliver on commitments and achieve results.
- Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
- Position can be remote.
- Travel required: minimal
Estimated Salary range for this position: $105,000 - $140,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
