About the Position

Assurance is seeking a motivated Compliance Director to join our growing compliance team and work on the cutting edge of the insurance industry and find new ways to tackle age-old challenges.


This position is responsible for managing the compliance risk management program and leads the department for several projects, working with multiple insurance product lines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance, with a customer first approach
  • Maintenance of compliance policies and consultation on interpretation
  • Management of the Compliance Risk Management Program
  • Serve as a leader for the department and execute projects impacting multiple product lines as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with peers in the Compliance Department to support a common framework while recognizing the distinct compliance considerations of each product offering
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 7+ years in Compliance or related role with escalating responsibilities
  • Proven ability to research regulations and translate into actionable concepts that multiple levels of stakeholders can understand
  • Strong knowledge of regulations associated with the offering of the financial services products and current industry issues
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
