The Communities Managers focus is to optimize utilization of the HealthStream Communities to provide self-service support options for our customers and other evolving community needs. This role supports Product, Implementations, Customer Service, and Success Management Teams in their efforts to provide up to date, relevant content that will help our customers to have ready access to product materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES (The below listed duties are not all inclusive. This position must also perform other duties as assigned.):

  • Develops and maintains an ongoing consultative relationship with the various Customer Service and Success teams and other relevant internal teams to coordinate customer interactions on the HealthStream Community
  • Manages the process for review, storage, and maintenance of all customer facing guides, templates, and resource materials on the HealthStream Community
  • Manages the Success Management Webinar Series by providing content technical review, scheduling & posting webinars and maintaining stats of registration and attendance
  • Collaborates with the HealthStream Marketing team to ensure branding across communities is aligned with overall company branding guidelines
  • Interacts with partners and stakeholders to develop and maintain new communities and experiences
  • Manage customers idea submission, reporting, and communications
  • Maintain and assist to evolve community engagement, reengagement, and feedback strategies
  • Develop and implement content and communication plans
  • Assist with developing and reporting KPIs
  • Assist with troubleshooting related to community access, function, or errors
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by the community leadership

  • Experienced professional with a minimum of a bachelors degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or communications field
  • Minimum 3 years in a community management or related role
  • Experience in healthcare organization is preferred
  • Experience with developing/managing user communities is preferred
  • Web development, graphic design, copywriting, and project management experience is a plus

SKILLS REQUIRED (manual, verbal or mental manipulation of data or things):
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Products
  • Proficiency in use of Adobe Creative Products
  • Proficiency in use of Salesforce
  • Proficiency in use of Webex and Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of data and its application to defining customer success

ABILITIES REQUIRED (work characteristics, behaviors, leadership abilities, etc.):
  • Function independently and use critical thinking to analyze and help develop opportunities for creative customer interactions
  • Effectively present information to management, customer groups, and HealthStream internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate as part of an interdepartmental team to optimize customer communication and self-support
  • Interact and build relationships at various levels within the organization in order to most effectively provide creative and administrative support for the HealthStream Communities
  • Utilize data to demonstrate customer engagement
  • Adapt to changes in strategy or approach as needed in a fast paced, innovative environment
