Overview

As our business scales, so do our procurement needs. You’ll be at the forefront of this evolution — reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you'll work together to improve our procurement process, drive margin improvement, and build strong supplier relations.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to successfully negotiate and maintain favorable pricing, terms, and agreements with approved suppliers
  • Conduct supplier and material risk assessments, and monitor specific market trends, developing technologies, and supply/demand challenges
  • Partner with Product Managers to evaluate and improve the cost position of existing products 
  • Conduct regular audits on current products pricing
  • Collaborate with customer service and R&D to resolve supplier quality issues 
  • Develop, track, and report on KPIs related to supplier performance 
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with our Suppliers and engage teams (internal and external) on improvement initiatives
This Might Describe You
  • 6+ years experience working in procurement, supply chain, operations, or a related field
  • Experience in the furniture industry a plus, but not a requirement
  • Proven track record of cost improvements while not compromising quality
  • Highly organized and comfortable balancing priorities
  • Skilled negotiator and relationship manager
  • Bias for action and getting stuff done
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strive for excellence and continuous improvement — for yourself and others
  • Enjoy collaboration and working in a team environment
  • Willing to travel (up to 25%)
  • Interest in manufacturing operations, product innovation, negotiations & pricing
