Job Description

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Calculate commission payments earned by production employees
  • Prepare monthly reports for end of month executive management meetings
  • Research and respond to commissions questions from production employees and management
  • Make entries into various accounting/commission systems within the company
  • Reconcile commissions related accounts and general ledger accounts monthly
  • Produce the Tax Apportionment schedule by client state on a quarterly basis and provide to Financial Reporting Manager
  • Complete daily balancing of the commissions payout systems
  • Continually strive to enhance, improve, and automate the processes in the commissions area
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting, payroll or business administration related position
  • Excellent Attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Experience with SUN GL, BETA AS 400, Xtiva, 1099 contract labor, and/or working with large amounts of data are huge pluses


Physical requirements/Working conditions:

  • Climate controlled office environment
  • Minimal physical requirements other than occasional light lifting of boxed materials
  • Dynamic, time-sensitive environment
