Description
We are looking for a talented Combustion and Emissions Performance Specialist to join our team specializing in Supply Chain function for our POWER SYSTEMS ORGANIZATION.
(On-Site/Hybrid Role): This role will require some on-site activity, but does not require daily site visits.
-Home site will be Charleston, South Carolina-
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for Test Cell Planning, Test Cell Support, and Data Collection/Validation - including communicating results with other team members, managers, and engineers from other teams.
- Making data-based decisions on project and product architecture, calibration tuning, and emissions compliance and communicating them to other team members.
- Utilize and improve upon functional excellence practices and engineering tools.
- Apply and improve upon current product development and work processes.
- Deliver support and guidance to lesser experienced engineers or students
- Support and guide technical direction within the project team
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in engine development testing, combustion science, or comparable thermodynamic energy conversion systems is preferred
- Familiarity with Systems Requirements Engineering, Systems Thinking is preferred
- Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience is preferred
- Familiarity with MS Office, MATLAB, AVL Concerto tools
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
