About the Role

Lyra is looking for a clinician quality lead with extensive experience in evidence-based behavioral health care assessment and counseling, crisis assessment and intervention, and deep knowledge of inpatient psychiatric services, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient care. You will serve as the clinical quality lead for Lyra’s higher levels of care (HLOC) services. These HLOC services will provide support for Lyra clients presenting with safety concerns, severe substance abuse disorders, uncontrolled eating disorders, and other conditions requiring intensive levels of care. 


You will be responsible for establishing standards by which to evaluate the quality of HLOC programs. Approved HLOC programs will serve, via referral and formal partnerships, Lyra clients with clinical needs that exceed what is provided by standard outpatient services. It will be your responsibility to maintain current knowledge best-practices and evidence-based HLOC, relevant accreditation standards, and quality measures such as clinical effectiveness and client satisfaction.You will also represent Lyra during sales and customer success meetings with current or future Lyra customers. You will be the lead clinical quality consultation to Lyra’s customer support teams in regards to concierge and referral services to HLOC programs. You will also serve as the lead clinical consultant to Lyra network providers considering HLOC services for Lyra clients already engaged in outpatient care.


You will assist other members of the Clinical Quality Assurance team to provide cross coverage to address Lyra network provider queries and manager consults from other Lyra customers. 


The ideal candidate brings exceptional clinical judgment, deep knowledge of HLOC, strong written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience with EAP risk services and consultation. 


This role reports to our Senior Director, Clinical Quality for Direct Access.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary clinical quality consultant for evaluating and vetting HLOC referrals and partnerships
  • Provide clinical quality consultation to the Lyra Customer Support team for referrals to HLOC
  • Assist in training and staffing to support manager consults
  • Represent Lyra in conversations regarding HLOC services with key prospects and customers
  • Manage operations/processes internally with cross-functional teams (clinical, care team, customer success, vendor relations)

Qualifications

  • MA/MS in social work or psychology or PhD/PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology
  • 8+ years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in HLOC settings
  • Highly skilled in providing management consultation in crises situations
  • Deep knowledge of evidence-based HLOC clinical quality and accreditation standards
  • Grounded in cultural humility with a deep commitment to culturally responsive care and DEIB
  • Strong experience assessing clinical risk and recommending appropriate interventions
  • Comfort with technology and working within a fast-moving environment
  • Passion for transforming mental health through technology with a human touch
