Job Description

The Clinical Application Specialist is one of the most customer-facing members of the Butterfly Team. The successful applicant will be an expert communicator, presenter, and product demo specialist with a proven track record of success. This clinical professional will be responsible for understanding the clinical needs of customers and will partner with our commercial team to delight customers and close deals.  

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: 

  • Partner with commercial, marketing, and clinical teams to support business activities
  • Act as primary clinical contact for customer support
  • Responsible for product demonstrations and training customers on the proper use of our solutions
  • Develop (clinical) competition intelligence to support the field with counter arguments and selling advantages
  • Work closely with your commercial counterparts to communicate the value of Butterfly Network products and services
  • Support annual marketing events, including trade-show demo and educational workshops
  • Provide clinical expertise and educational support to new and existing customers as needed
  • Address customer issues and maintain positive customer satisfaction
  • Provide support to other areas of the organization as needed
  • Be the voice of the customer to internal development teams
  • Support clinical optimization, evaluation of new hardware/software prior to release

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited ultrasound institution
  • Current RDMS and/or RDCS/RVT required. Special attention will be paid to applicants with multiple registries
  • Must have at least (3) three years’ experience in diagnostic ultrasound (Abdomen/OBGyn/Cardiac/Vascular)
  • Ability to comprehend the clinical and business needs of the customer and Butterfly Network respectively

  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to various workloads and changing priorities
  • Teaching ability: able to present complex material/ techniques in comprehensible terms
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Represent Butterfly Network in a professional manner
